solitude is a place yet fair
somewhere you may a while reside
with no need for pain or care
from this world where you might safely hide
where the law of man cant crush control
or destroy the dreams you hope to sow
where snobbery inverts the simple truth
or denies the hopes that sprang from youth
those opiates beamed into your mind
do your senses dull and blind
the hillock onn which you sit to sow
the seeds from which your dreams do grow
is one that they cant take away
till your bones do die decay
back
